Full Stack Software Engineer

TickerTrends is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to build and maintain web applications for its demand intelligence platform. The role focuses on scalable back-end services, responsive front-end interfaces, API and data-source integrations, performance, and platform reliability and security, in collaboration with product, data, and research teams.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications that power TickerTrends’ demand intelligence platform

Developing scalable back-end services

Implementing responsive front-end interfaces

Integrating with internal and external APIs and data sources

Optimizing performance for large-scale data processing

Collaborating with product, data, and research teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Writing clean and testable code

Participating in code reviews

Contributing to architecture decisions

Help enhance deployment pipelines

Monitor production systems

Improve reliability and security of the platform

Preferred

Experience working with data-intensive or analytics platforms, and interest in financial markets or investing, is a plus

Qualifications

Strong back-end web development skills, including experience with server-side frameworks and building scalable APIs

Proficiency in front-end development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive user interfaces

Solid software development and full-stack development skills, with the ability to work across the entire application stack

Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization, and CI/CD pipelines

Understanding of secure coding practices, application monitoring, and debugging in production environments

Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment, communicate clearly, and document technical decisions

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Experience working with data-intensive or analytics platforms, and interest in financial markets or investing, is a plus
