Direct Hire and Permanent Staffing Services
Direct hire and permanent staffing for full-time roles: we find and screen IT, healthcare and business candidates, and you hire them onto your own payroll.

Ethic Leaf helps U.S. employers hire full-time staff. Tell us about the role, the skills you need and the pay range. We source, screen and shortlist candidates, and your team interviews and makes the hiring decision.
What Is Direct Hire Staffing?
Direct hire staffing, also called permanent staffing, is when a staffing firm finds a candidate for a full-time role and your company hires that person directly. From the first day, the new hire is your employee, on your payroll and benefits.
Direct hire is different from contract-to-hire. With contract-to-hire, the person first works on a contract, and you decide later whether to offer a full-time job. With direct hire, you make the full-time offer at the start.

When Direct Hire Makes Sense
Long-Term, Core Roles
The job is a core, long-term part of your team, not a short project.
Roles That Need Continuity
The role needs deep knowledge of your business, systems or clients, so continuity matters.
A Clear, Approved Role
The role and the budget are approved, and you are ready to make a full-time offer.
Not Sure Yet? Try Contract-to-Hire
If you want to see a person's work first, use contract-to-hire. Our temporary and contract staffing services page explains how it works.
Direct Hire Staffing FAQs
With direct hire, you make a full-time offer at the start and the person joins your payroll. With contract-to-hire, the person first works on a contract, and you can offer a full-time job later if the fit is right.
We learn about the role and the skills you need, search for candidates, screen them and share a shortlist. Your team interviews and chooses, and we help with interview scheduling and the offer stage.
We recruit for IT roles, and we also support healthcare and business and administrative roles. Tell us about your role and we will tell you if we can help.
Ask which roles they recruit for, how they find and screen candidates, how their fees work and when they are due, and what happens if a new hire leaves early. Get these terms in writing before the search starts.
Use direct hire for long-term, core roles where you want the person on your own team. Use temporary or contract staffing for projects, busy seasons or to cover an employee on leave.
Your company does. The new hire joins your payroll and benefits from the first day, like any employee you hire yourself.
