The Analytics Data Engineer II will design and scale data infrastructure, build reliable pipelines and curated datasets, and develop BI solutions for analytics and customer-facing products. The role also supports data quality, self-service analytics, and productionizing machine learning and LLM-based use cases.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end design and deployment of automated data infrastructure – from defining initial data requirements and owning table/schema design to creating reliable, production data pipelines that power both internal analytics and customer-facing product experiences
Work with product and software engineering teams to define tracking strategy and data requirements; design and build automated scripts using SQL or python to transform raw source data into datasets for use in front-end business products and for analysts across the company
Develop and implement data quality and pipeline monitoring procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness of data, including validation rules, data audits, and resolution of data discrepancies
Design warehouse architecture and infrastructure to support all business reporting needs. Design tables, schemas, and processes that efficiently compile datasets that support both analytical and front-end use cases
Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams on projects to understand their data needs and provide them with the tools and resources they need to access and analyze data
Lead business analysis in support of strategic business development – work with stakeholders to help them access, analyze, and interpret data and understand business implications
Develop and maintain scalable BI solutions in Power BI, built on curated datasets and data models to enable self-service analytics and drive decision-making across product, marketing, and sales teams
Apply analytical and data science techniques to curate datasets and develop models that power the Homes.com front-end experience
