Job description
Replay provides de-identified enterprise data for frontier AI labs. The Backend Engineer builds and scales data de-identification pipelines, owns backend systems and recovery, develops internal tooling, and collaborates on new data modalities.

Responsibilities
Build/scale multi-stage high-volume pipelines de-identifying enterprise data (Slack, Gmail, Drive, code)
Own backend systems end-to-end incl. correctness and safe recovery
Safe retries, checkpoints, backfills, rollbacks across async orchestration, batch, queues, object storage
Internal tooling/dashboards for pipeline performance and data quality
Work with ML, full-stack, platform, security on new modalities
Preferred
Ideally strong-name company + early-stage startup
