Graduate Cloud Developer

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Graduate Cloud Developer to build cloud-based solutions and enrich its Enterprise Wi-Fi and Switch portfolio. The role develops streaming and batch applications, analyzes network telemetry, builds CI/CD pipelines, and collaborates with data scientists and engineers to improve actionable insights and AI outcomes.

Responsibilities

Application design and development in streaming or batch mode over Kafka and Spark

Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and reduce cost

Analyze and validate telemetry data, learn error patterns and produce views that show network problem conditions and patterns

Work with a team of data scientists, domain experts, architects and other engineers to increase the accuracy of AI outcomes in our device management product

Build CI/CD pipelines

Work with SMEs and data scientists to increase accuracy of actionable insights

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline

Typically, 2-4 years' experience

Programming in at least one of Python, Java or Scala

Expertise in big data technologies such as Spark or Kafka

Experience with design methodologies, cloud-native applications, developer tools, managed services, and next-generation databases

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies and work well with other team members

Understanding DevOps practices like continuous integration/deployment and orchestration with Kubernetes
