Data Analyst

Success Recruitments is seeking a Data Analyst to turn complex data into actionable business insights and decisions. The role builds dashboards, reporting solutions, and KPI frameworks; conducts deep-dive analysis; and partners with cross-functional stakeholders and data teams to improve analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

Transform large, complex datasets into actionable insights that influence business strategy

Build dashboards and reporting solutions that give leaders a clear view of performance, opportunities, and risks

Partner directly with stakeholders across product, operations, finance, marketing, and leadership

Identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and opportunities that may not be obvious at first glance

Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical problems

Develop and maintain KPI frameworks, scorecards, recurring reports, and executive-level dashboards

Perform deep-dive and ad hoc analyses to answer high priority business questions

Improve data quality by identifying inconsistencies, gaps, and reporting issues

Create scalable reporting processes that reduce manual work and improve decision speed

Present analytical findings in a way that is clear and persuasive to both technical and non-technical audiences

Partner with data and engineering teams to improve datasets, reporting infrastructure, and analytics workflows

Help move the organization from simply reporting what happened to understanding why it happened and what to do next

Qualifications

Advanced SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing large datasets

Strong proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for advanced analysis and modeling

Hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms

Ability to independently investigate data and turn findings into recommendations

Strong understanding of KPIs, metrics development, data validation, and performance reporting

Experience working with multiple data sources and complex datasets

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to explain complicated findings simply and confidently

Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger business objective

Candidates with experience in several of the following areas will be particularly strong:

Python or R for analysis and automation

Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, or similar data platforms

Advanced Tableau or Power BI development

Statistical analysis and experimentation

Forecasting and trend analysis

Customer or product analytics

Financial or operational analytics

Marketing analytics

Data modeling

ETL/ELT concepts

Automation of recurring reporting

Executive dashboards and data storytelling

A/B testing and experiment analysis
