Data Analyst

Workhuman is a workplace technology company seeking a Data Analyst to join its Business Analytics team. The role focuses on understanding customer data, automating manual workflows, building scalable data models and products, and developing AI-assisted, self-service, and conversational analytics experiences.

Responsibilities

You will start by becoming an expert in how we deliver customer data today, using that knowledge to automate manual workflows and turn recurring needs into scalable capabilities

From there, you will help build data models, data products, and AI-assisted experiences that fundamentally change how people discover, explore, and act on data

Preferred

Experience building production-grade data models; experience with dbt is a plus

Exposure to AI coding tools, AI-assisted analytics, conversational analytics, or similar emerging technologies is a plus

Qualifications

• Proficiency in querying, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets using SQL and data visualization tools
• Experience building production-grade data models
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and business intuition
• Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on use of generative AI, professionally or independently, to analyze data, write code, automate workflows, or build new capabilities
• Strong communication and project management skills and a highly collaborative approach to problem-solving
• Built dashboards, data products, or self-service capabilities that changed how people access and use data
• Automated or materially reinvented recurring analytical workflows
• Built or experimented with an AI-enabled tool, workflow, or project, professionally or independently
• Translated ambiguous stakeholder or customer needs into scalable analytical solutions
