Gumball Digital is hiring a Front-End Engineer to build and maintain responsive customer-facing experiences and internal web applications. The role focuses on translating requirements into usable interfaces, integrating backend services, and ensuring quality across mobile behavior, accessibility, testing, and production support.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain responsive customer-facing experiences and internal web applications
Create forms, surveys, editors, dashboards, and reusable interface components that are clear to first-time users
Translate written requirements, brand direction, and stakeholder feedback into finished interfaces
Make thoughtful decisions about layout, typography, interaction, and responsive behavior. Collaborate with the senior engineer and stakeholders when a decision affects product behavior, shared systems, or more than one brand
Work with the senior engineer to define the solution. They provide the backend services and data contracts; you integrate them into the interface and identify what the front end still needs
Handle loading, success, empty, validation, and failure states instead of treating the first render as complete
Build for mobile use, accessibility, browser compatibility, and maintainability
Test your work as a user, document the results, and respond to feedback from quality assurance and code review
Keep tickets and pull requests aligned when requirements change
Support production incidents when assigned by the Engineering Lead
