Electrical Engineering Professional

The Electrical Engineering Professional will support electrical engineering projects for semiconductor manufacturing and other advanced manufacturing facilities, managing technical quality, schedules, design coordination, and installation-related deliverables.

Responsibilities

Work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing and other state of the art manufacturing facilities

Be accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule for assigned tasks

Effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly

Provide assistance during startup

Coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead

Produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, and power plants

Preferred

• At least one year of design experience for semiconductors, data centers, or mission critical facilities
• Medium Voltage (MV) design experience
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team leadership and client interaction experience

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 4 years of engineering experience in building electrical systems
• Experience with power system software (preferably ETAP)
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) & IEEE standards
• Understanding of electrical power system equipment/components, such as switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
• At least one year of design experience for semiconductors, data centers, or mission critical facilities
