Sr. Business Analyst

Centric Consulting is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to bridge business subject matter experts and technical teams. The role gathers and translates requirements, supports testing and user training, creates project documentation, and helps agile teams resolve business problems.

Responsibilities

Work with business subject matter experts and technical teams to gather business processes and system needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements

Act as a general liaison between business and technical teams

Work with test teams to enable the creation of test scenarios and plans

Create project documentation, training material, reference manuals, and other technical documents, as necessary

Assist in the training of new users for the solution

Coordinate user acceptance testing with users

Collaborate with implementation teams to analyze technical or business issues

Work on agile projects identifying solutions to business problems as and when they occur

Qualifications

At least 7+ years of professional experience within a BA function

Expertise in various business analysis methodologies, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, and user acceptance testing and product documentation

Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex customer needs, distill concepts to stakeholders, and translate them into stories with actionable acceptance criteria

Ability to write requirements, reports, specifications, plans, and analysis in a clear and concise manner, and at a level that is appropriate for stakeholders

Ability to translate business vision into defined and prioritized stories for the team backlog

Understanding available and appropriate IT resources to help define and validate requirements and specifications for assigned projects

Effective, clear, and concise communication skills appropriate for varying audiences

Ability to identify, align, and recommend solutions that align to organizations with strategic objectives

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently

Previous consulting experience preferred

At least 7+ years of professional experience within a BA function.
