Job description
The University at Buffalo seeks a Research Scientist in transplant surgery within its Department of Surgery. The role advances clinical and hospital-based research through proposal development, study conduct and analysis, dissemination of findings, statistical and programming support, and assistance to residents with research projects.
Responsibilities
Development of research proposals and grant applications
Study conduct, data analysis
Dissemination of research results through publications and presentations
Provide primary or supplementary statistical and programming support as needed for team projects
Assist residents in the Department of Surgery as needed in developing and executing their research concepts
Prepare and submit IRB applications and other research related administrative tasks
