Business Analyst

NTT DATA is hiring a Business Analyst to gather and translate business needs into requirements and functional specifications. The role supports process improvement and the design, testing, implementation, and deployment of applications and business solutions.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, surveys, and process analysis

Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications and user stories

Analyze current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and automation

Support the design, testing, implementation, and deployment of new applications, system enhancements, and process improvements

Facilitate communication between business users, project teams, and IT development teams throughout the project lifecycle

Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), process maps, reports, dashboards, and other project documentation

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), training, change management, and post-implementation support activities

Monitor project progress and help ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and stakeholder expectations

Preferred

CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA, or equivalent Business Analysis certification

Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Exposure to digital transformation, process automation, or business process reengineering initiatives

Experience working in consulting environments and managing multiple stakeholder groups

Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and basic system integration concepts

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, and Process Improvement initiatives

Minimum 3+ years of experience working within Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environments and Agile delivery methodologies

Minimum 3+ years of experience creating business process maps, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications

Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, conducting gap analysis, and managing business requirements across multiple projects

Proficiency with business analysis and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, or similar platforms

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Experience supporting testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect management

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA, or equivalent Business Analysis certification
