Business Analyst

i3 Verticals is hiring a Business Analyst for its Transportation department. The role assesses client business processes, gathers and documents software requirements, supports testing, and collaborates with product and engineering teams to deliver projects using Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

Entry Level Business Analyst - assess client practices and gain understanding of clients’ business processes relevant to industry trends and project goals

Transmitting demands of the user to the developer, preparing software requirements and specifications, user stories, design documents such as wireframes and flowcharts for development to apply in producing the product

Testing system functionality in QC, UAT

Brainstorm requirements a software solution needs and participate in requirements gathering

Design new programs by analyzing clients’ requirements

Make recommendations and improve system by studying the products

Document processes and prepare user stories by analyzing and summarizing the information

Work on more than one project at a time and reevaluate their priorities and deadlines

Utilize Agile methodologies – particularly Scrum – to manage project delivery

Create and maintain user stories, defects, project documentation in Jira

Work closely with Product Owner and Engineering Manager to ensure project milestones are met

Preferred

2+ years related experience

Technical writing experience

Certified Product Owner (CPO)or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is a plus

Experience with Jira

Knowledge of Land and Property Recording at the county/parish or state level is a plus
