Senior Electrical Engineer

AllSTEM Connections is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering across commercial boiler and engineered systems product lines. The role sets technical direction, leads product and custom-project electrical design, supports cross-functional teams, and ensures regulatory compliance and standardized engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Product Development & Technology Leadership: Act as the primary technical authority for electrical engineering. Design safe, reliable, and serviceable products while integrating cutting-edge industry trends and advancements

Engineered Customer Orders: Serve as the subject matter expert leading electrical design efforts for custom projects. Collaborate with Project Management and electrical designers to approve drawings, specify specialty components, and ensure project specs, pricing, and availability align flawlessly

Cross-Functional Organizational Support: Provide technical guidance to manufacturing, quality, and field service teams. Troubleshoot production issues, optimize electrical designs to boost manufacturing efficiency, and support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and system commissioning

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical designs and systems strictly comply with relevant industry standards, including UL, NFPA, NEC, and CSA

Quality & Standardization: Establish, optimize, and maintain standardized electrical engineering procedures, design rules, and component libraries

Qualifications

5+ years of proven experience in electrical and controls design

Strong working knowledge of both mechanical and electrical design principles, ideally within industrial equipment or thermal systems

Deep, demonstrable knowledge and hands-on skill in industrial electrical and controls architecture

A meticulous eye for detail, ensuring all design work and documentation is complete, accurate, and properly tracked

Proven track record of setting challenging technical goals, focusing efforts to meet deadlines, and making sound engineering decisions efficiently

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline) is highly preferred

5+ years of proven experience in electrical and controls design.
