Job description
AEC Resources is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design high-performance electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, educational, and industrial facilities. The role focuses on electrical system design, engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, field assessments, troubleshooting, and light project management coordination.
Responsibilities
Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems that make buildings safer, smarter, and more efficient
Prepare electrical engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to develop integrated building systems
Perform site assessments, field verifications, and system troubleshooting to ensure seamless project execution
Support project management efforts by coordinating with contractors, clients, and stakeholders

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering degree, or graduate degree
Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE), or an EIT that can become a PE within 12 months
Knowledge of power, lighting, and special systems for building projects
Understanding of NEC, energy codes, and industry standards
Revit and/or AutoCAD proficient
