Business Analyst I

Dice is seeking a Business Analyst I to help business and IT teams improve workflows through practical technology solutions. The role involves gathering requirements, documenting processes, identifying automation opportunities, and supporting solution planning and implementation.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand needs and priorities

Gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications

Review existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation

Support process documentation, solution planning, and implementation activities

Help communicate changes and ensure solutions address business needs

Preferred

Experience with business process analysis or improvement

Familiarity with workflow automation

Understanding of IT systems and technology solutions, including Jira and Confluence

Experience working with both technical and non-technical teams

Qualifications

1-3 years of relevant technical or business experience

Experience gathering and documenting business requirements

Ability to create functional specifications and process documentation

Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills

Experience with business process analysis or improvement

Familiarity with workflow automation

Understanding of IT systems and technology solutions, including Jira and Confluence

Experience working with both technical and non-technical teams
