Research Assistant I - NYCAMH, Fly Creek, NY

Responsibilities

Organizes and maintains program-related documents, databases, and resources, maintaining notes for internal and external meetings as required

Completes and manages appropriate data collection in a timely and efficient manner as required by internal and external regulatory and funding agencies, as well as research protocols

Assists with data clean-up efforts, interview transcription and research coding, per research protocols

Assists with program subject recruitment and enrollment, per research protocols

Schedules activities in support of the research program

Assists with contacting appropriate collaborators in order to institute and organize program-related meetings and events

Assists with the development, promotion, and dissemination of research materials and products

Delivers presentations both internally and externally in support of the research program

Maintains good working relationships with those who are involved in the research program, as well as other departments in the organization

Purchases equipment and supplies within budget

Assists with strengthening communications and relationships with community members and organizations involved with the research program

Assists in advocacy activities promoting the mission of the research program

Attends research meetings and seminars as required or requested

Performs similar or related duties as requested or directed
