Electrical Engineer

LaBella Associates provides building engineering services across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural disciplines. The Electrical Engineer will support building projects by developing electrical concepts, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports, while performing lighting, power distribution, field investigation, and construction-related work.

Responsibilities

Work with other engineers as part of a Project Team to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports

Prepare electrical design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD

Perform lighting calculations and arc flash studies

Perform field investigations to document existing conditions

Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner with co-workers, staff, project managers, other disciplines, and all other employees

Expected to improve current knowledge of technologies and trends, as they apply to the applicable project and market types, and continually strengthens skills

Preferred

* Background in AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred

* EIT certification is a plus

* Experience in the A/E consulting business is a plus

Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Associates Degree in electrical engineering or related field required

* 3 - 7 years of experience

* Strong writing, organizational and communications skills

* Ability to work on several projects simultaneously

* Background in AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred

* EIT certification is a plus

* Experience in the A/E consulting business is a plus
