Mid-Level Systems Engineer

GliaCell Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support a U.S. Government customer by providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission-related software and systems. The role supports modernization of business IT systems and migration of business data from legacy systems to a new platform.

Responsibilities

The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract

The Data Modeling team is focused on modernizing business IT systems that currently span multiple databases, user interfaces, and data formats

This role is key to the successful migration of business data from legacy systems to a new platform

Qualifications

An active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is REQUIRED

U.S. Citizenship

Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required

Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

Works well independently as well as on a team

Strong communication skills

Experience with database design and modeling

Experience utilizing SQL within relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, Postgres)

Experience reverse engineering systems in both front-end and back-end capacities

Experience with data analysis and visualization, data normalization and cleansing, and data security

Knowledge of existing BM&A systems
