Network Engineer (Journeyman) - Colorado Springs, CO

Responsibilities

Uses knowledge of network systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. Relies on established guidelines and instructions to perform daily job functions

Preferred

Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command

Experience with Defensive Cyber Operations (SSC/SZWO) program office

Preferred hands-on experience with the network devices supporting DCO-S tools, eg:

A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired

Qualifications

At least 3 years' related professional experience

Must have JNCDA, JNCDS-DC, JNCDS-SEC, CCNA, or equivalent

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 5 years' related professional experience; Or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 3 years' related professional experience

Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance
