DATA ANALYST

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking a Data Analyst to transform raw data into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions. The role involves collecting, cleaning, validating, and analyzing data; developing dashboards and reports; conducting statistical analysis; and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Tableau to visualize key metrics

Perform statistical analysis and data modeling using R and SAS to uncover trends and insights

Create pivot tables and other data summaries to support ad hoc analysis and business queries

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights

Identify data quality issues and implement data cleansing processes to improve data integrity

Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Preferred

Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or related field

Experience with big data technologies and SQL databases

Familiarity with machine learning techniques and predictive analytics

Knowledge of Python programming for data analysis

Previous experience in a business intelligence or analytics role within the United States market

Preferred skills like SQL and Python can further enhance your ability to manage large datasets and perform advanced analytics, enabling you to provide deeper insights and support complex business needs
