Mid-Level FullStack Engineer (Tampa, FL)

Sparks Group is seeking a mid-level Full Stack Engineer to develop, test, deploy, and support mission-critical software applications. The role focuses on Golang backend services and APIs, Git-based source control workflows, and containerized application deployment and troubleshooting using Docker and/or Kubernetes in collaboration with software, systems, and security teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Golang

Manage source code through Git-based workflows, including branching, merging, pull requests, code reviews, and controlled releases

Build, containerize, deploy, and troubleshoot applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes while collaborating with software, systems, and security teams

Preferred

Additional experience with React or another modern frontend framework, REST APIs, SQL or NoSQL databases, Linux, cloud platforms, microservices, CI/CD, automated testing, and formal software-development practices

Qualifications

Mid-level software-development experience with hands-on professional programming experience using Golang

Strong Git experience within a collaborative development environment

Experience building, deploying, or supporting containerized applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes
