Java Developer- CLT

Matlen Silver is seeking a Java Developer to build application functionality, enhance existing features, and support production applications. The role develops Java-based applications and RESTful services, troubleshoots production issues, and collaborates with a team in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

Implement application code based on sprint stories and business requirements

Develop new functionality and enhance existing applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework

Work with Hibernate and JPA for persistence and interaction with Oracle databases

Develop and maintain RESTful services

Monitor production applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to maintain application stability and intended functionality

Identify root causes of application issues and deliver corrective solutions

Collaborate with the Senior Developer and other team members to complete sprint deliverables

Qualifications

7+ years of Java development experience, with hands-on experience using Java 8 and Java 21

Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework

Strong experience with Hibernate and JPA, including entity relationships, data persistence, and interaction with Oracle databases

Experience developing and maintaining RESTful services

Ability to troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Experience with Camunda

7+ years of Java development experience, with hands-on experience using Java 8 and Java 21.
