.NET Software Engineer

Deloitte is hiring a .NET Software Engineer Consultant for its AI & Engineering team. The role supports client projects by designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining .NET applications and services, while providing technical guidance and engaging with stakeholders to align delivery priorities.

Responsibilities

Application analysis, design, coding, unit testing, peer review, defect resolution, maintenance, enhancement, and technical documentation

Architecture using .NET Core/.NET Framework and relevant Azure services

Event-driven integration patterns using approved Azure capabilities such as Event Grid, Service Bus, and Event Hub, where applicable

API and third-party integration design and delivery, including secure, scalable, supportable patterns

Technical leadership, mentoring, code review, architectural conformance, and remediation of quality or security findings

Proactively works with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements

Develops use cases and provides oversight and quality assurance on team member's use cases

Engage directly with business stakeholders and technology leadership to align delivery priorities and effort estimates

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on engineering experience with .NET / C#, API development, backend services, SQL/data processing, and enterprise application delivery

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products

Can operate independently or with minimum supervision

Excellent Written and Communication Skills

Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
