IT - Analyst, Network Engineer (Jr. Network Engineer)

Responsibilities

Investigate reported network issues and diagnose root cause

Remotely work with onsite technicians to deploy new hardware or troubleshoot existing

Working with vendors as necessary to resolve issues

Reconfigure switchports to accommodate specific devices

Reconfiguring network devices according to established standards

Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation

Remotely assist in turning-up new Internet circuits

Remotely assist in deploying networks at new sites

Configure/re-configure Azure Resource Groups

Complying with documented processes for standard tasks

Preferred

CCNA or CCNP certification preferred

Qualifications

Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and common protocols

Working knowledge of VLANs and network segmentation

Ability to do independent research on unfamiliar topics

Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki and Cisco ASA

VoIP and QoS deployment and troubleshooting

Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows Server operating system and Active Directory

Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure AD

Familiarity with Azure NSGs, reserved instances, and public and private endpoints

Good communication skills

Bachelor's degree required

2 to 4 Years networking experience required

CCNA or CCNP certification preferred
