Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software releases

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

Set up and manage monitoring tools and implement alerting systems to proactively identify issues

Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS) or on-premises servers, optimizing resource usage and cost

Collaborate with developers, QA, and IT teams to streamline workflows and advocate for DevOps best practices

Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps) to ensure compliance with standards

Write scripts (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to automate repetitive tasks and develop custom automation solutions

Implement backup strategies and disaster recovery plans, regularly testing recovery procedures

Architect, build, and maintain cloud environments (AWS), ensuring scalable, resilient, and secure network architectures

Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources

Set up monitoring and alerting for cloud resources using tools like CloudWatch and App Dynamics

Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation, enforcing cloud security best practices

Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies, staying current with trends and best practices

Preferred

Experience with Kong Gateway implementation and monitoring
