Responsibilities

Review and test AI-generated changes to verify functionality, security, and alignment with team standards before submission
Support troubleshooting, production issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and ongoing system improvements. Occasionally provide support outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, to respond to critical Priority 1 (P1) production incidents. These situations are expected to be infrequent, with support responsibilities appropriate to the employee’s level
Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to technical solutions
Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, task estimation, standups, retrospectives, and demonstrations
Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing to verify that solutions meet acceptance criteria before release
Assist with Shopify configuration and deployment across Young Living’s global storefronts

Follow established practices for security, performance, reliability, and maintainability
Continue developing technical skills and learning emerging technologies as directed by senior IT leadership
Software Engineer I: Complete assigned, well-defined development tasks under close supervision, contribute to established designs, and incorporate feedback from senior engineers
Software Engineer II: Independently design, develop, and deliver frontend, backend, and integration solutions within established architecture and team standards. Evaluate technical approaches, understand cross-system dependencies and downstream impacts, and serve as the lead developer on smaller projects

Software Engineer II: Participate in the on-call rotation and production incident response
