Java Backend Engineer Angular & Blockchain

Dice is hiring a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and scale mission-critical applications. The role focuses on backend services, APIs, event-driven systems, blockchain integrations, and support for modern web interfaces.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java (JDK 11+) and Spring Boot

Build and optimize microservices following cloud-native and domain-driven design principles

Implement secure and maintainable business logic for complex enterprise applications

Design, develop, and document RESTful APIs and service integrations

Ensure API security, versioning, scalability, and performance optimization

Collaborate with frontend teams to support seamless API consumption

Develop and maintain event-driven systems using Apache Kafka

Implement real-time event processing, asynchronous communication, and stream processing solutions

Monitor and optimize event pipelines for reliability and throughput

Design and integrate blockchain-based solutions for secure and transparent transactions

Develop and interact with smart contracts using blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Polygon, or Binance Smart Chain

Build backend services that interact with blockchain nodes, wallets, and distributed ledgers

Ensure security, data integrity, and auditability of blockchain integrations
