Job description

The Senior Data Analyst will own end-to-end analytics for multiple key games, proactively identifying high-impact opportunities and translating complex or ambiguous product questions into clear, actionable strategies and experimentation plans.

In this role, you’ll partner cross-functionally with teams across Product Management, Ad Serving, Marketing, and Game Design, using data and insights to inform decision-making, evaluate performance, uncover opportunities, and help drive meaningful improvements across our games and the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, analyze, and interpret A/B tests for game features and monetization strategies, turning results into clear recommendations that improve retention, engagement, and ARPDAU.
  • Lead strategic analyses of player behavior and game systems to find growth opportunities and shape the product roadmap.
  • Build AI-powered self-serve agents and workflows that let game teams answer common data questions on their own and make the analytics team more efficient.
  • Define KPIs and build dashboards that track game performance across player types, game systems, and player experience.
  • Write tracking specs with designers and engineers so new features can be measured from day one.
  • Help prioritize data requests for supported games, balancing quick-turn asks with high-impact work.
  • Mentor junior analysts and product partners on experimental design, analysis, and interpreting data, and present findings and business impact to stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications for Position:

  • BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or another quantitative field.
  • 4+ years in product or data analytics, including 1+ years at a senior level, preferably in tech or gaming.
  • Advanced SQL skills for querying and analyzing large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
  • Experience with Python or R for analysis and modeling (e.g., regression, clustering, forecasting)
  • Strong grasp of experimental design and statistics.
  • Ability to connect analysis to business strategy and present clear, actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Track record of proactively finding opportunities beyond assigned requests.
  • Experience using AI/LLM tools to automate analytics workflows or enable self-serve insights.
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts or teaching data best practices to non-technical partners.
  • Experience working with data engineering, product engineering, and marketing.
  • Nice to have – Experience in the gaming industry, particularly mobile gaming.
