Job description

As our Systems Administrator, you'll look after our core IT infrastructure, both on-prem and in the cloud. You'll run key business platforms like Egnyte, Procore, Microsoft Intune and Autopilot. You'll work closely with the IT Services Manager and teams across the company, and you'll be the senior technical resource people rely on.

What You'll Do

  • Systems & Infrastructure: Maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP and VMware/Hyper-V environments. Handle routine maintenance, updates and configuration changes.
  • Cloud & File Management: Run Egnyte, Procore, Intune and Autopilot, including permissions, file structure, syncing and integrations with internal systems.
  • Network & Security: Manage Fortigate firewalls and VPN access. Run Proofpoint email filtering and make sure systems follow company security policies.
  • Tier 2 Support & Escalations: Resolve infrastructure issues escalated from the service desk. Work with the IT Services Manager and our MSP on complex problems and improvements.
  • Operations & Collaboration: Take part in infrastructure upgrades, audits and IT initiatives. Keep technical documentation current and consistent with our FreshService processes.

What Success Looks Like

  • Core infrastructure is stable, secure and maintained before problems come up
  • Mobile devices are deployed and managed efficiently in JAMF
  • Escalations are resolved quickly with minimal disruption to users
  • Systems are clearly documented and follow our service management practices

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in systems administration or a senior IT support role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP and VMware or Hyper-V
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot; experience with JAMF and iOS device management
  • Familiarity with Fortigate firewalls, VPN and email security tools like Proofpoint
  • Experience with Egnyte, Procore or similar cloud file and project platforms is a plus
  • Experience with ITSM tools (FreshService preferred) and a habit of documenting your work
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and clear communication with both technical and non-technical users
  • Preferred: Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, Fortinet, JAMF)

Why Join Us

  • A key role on a small team where your work directly affects company operations
  • Hands-on experience with modern cloud, security and device management tools
  • A growing, multi-state company with room to develop.
